January 28, 2004 Ohio Public Works Commission Currently, the Storm Water Management Project to address the Beechwood/SR 616/Lakeshore area of Struthers and Poland Township has 62 points and is ranked 4th of all Mahoning County projects. The Wastewater Clarifer project has 52 points and is ranked 14th. On Friday, February 6, 2004, the District Committee will meet to assign regional points to the respective projects. Availability of funding should be finalized by early the following week. Mahoning River Corridor of Opportunity Planning Committee Among the topics to be discussed will be an update on the status of various developments in the past few months and the identification of future tasks and activities for 2004. On a related note, the Department of Urban Development has informed my office that the State Controlling Board will be awarding our Clean Ohio Assistance Funds grant at the meeting in February. Upon notification, we will issue Request For Qualifications to select the necessary certified professional to conduct and complete the assessment activities. 2004 Budget Respectfully Submitted, [ BACK ]
