Struthers Mayor

The Mayor is the chief executive officer of the city and is responsible for carrying out and fulfilling the intent and purpose of all legislation duly passed by Council. The Mayor is also the chief conservator of the peace within the city and shall see that that laws, resolutions and ordinances are enforced therein; the contracting officer of the city; is responsible for directing the administration of all affairs of the city, as well as the operation of all departments and divisions.

    

The Mayor, or his designee, also represents the city on various regional boards. Among them are the Eastgate Council of Governments, Mahoning Valley Economic Development Corporation, CASTLO, Community Improvement Corporation, Youngstown Area Community Action Council and the Mahoning County Tax Incentive Review Board.
