The City of Struthers requires any resident or contractor doing work (excluding windows) inside the city obtain a permit for the work. Permits are licenses that grant legal permission to start construction. Building permits are the means the City of Struthers uses to reduce potential hazards and unsafe construction practices, thereby ensuring the public health, safety and welfare.
Permit applications can be submitted in person at the Mayor's office inside the City Administration Building. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
Payment is expected at time of application. We accept cash, check/money order or Credit/Debit cards.
